Yummi Lovette was founded in 2019 and inspired by one of the most meaningful influences in my life—my late mother, Angel Lovette Outen. Her love, compassion, and my grandmother Dorothy’s passion for feeding others shaped who I am and continue to guide the heart of this business. Naming my company after her was my way of honoring the legacy she left behind: one filled with warmth, generosity, and the belief that food brings people together in the most unforgettable ways.
My journey in the culinary world began long before Yummi Lovette. After graduating from culinary school, I knew I wanted to use my skills to serve my community, create memorable experiences, and pour love into every dish I crafted. That dream grew into a business that now proudly caters to local families, businesses, and organizations for a wide range of events—from intimate celebrations to large gatherings.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of providing meals for Pontiac Election Poll workers, serving countless families during special milestones, and partnering with local businesses to make their events seamless and delicious.
